Rakshak

Delete your data

Self-reviewed · last updated 2026-10-09. Written by us from what the app actually does; not reviewed by a lawyer.

Rakshak has no accounts today and keeps your data on your phone, so you can delete all of it yourself. We hold nothing from the app; the only data we may have is emails you sent us.

Delete everything at once

  1. Open Settings → Apps → Rakshak → Storage on your phone and tap Clear storage (or Clear data).
  2. Uninstall the app.

This deletes every setting, list, photo, draft, SOS record and prompt the app keeps. The texts in your phone's message store and the calls in its call history belong to the phone, not the app, and are not deleted.

Ask us to delete data

Use this form to ask us to delete anything we hold about you, or to confirm that we hold nothing. It opens your email app with a message to abshingate@exadatum.com; you send it from there. This is an email, not a web form that stores anything: there is no server behind this website.

If the button does nothing, email abshingate@exadatum.com with the subject "Data deletion request".

We confirm receipt within 24 hours and complete the request within 15 days, and tell you what was deleted. We may ask you to confirm the request came from you before deleting anything.

When accounts start

Accounts, and a small cloud service in India, are planned. When they start, Delete account in the app will erase your account and everything stored with it within 7 days (backups expire within 30 days), and this page will describe it before it goes live.
