Under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can raise a complaint about the Rakshak app or about how your personal data is handled with our grievance officer.

What to include
Your name, how to reach you, what the complaint is about, and any details that help (dates, screenshots, the app version from Settings → About). For a data request, say what you want: a summary of your data, a correction, erasure or withdrawal of consent.

We are a small team and one person reads these emails; if a complaint needs more time we tell you why and when to expect an answer.
If you are not satisfied
You can escalate a data protection complaint to the Data Protection Board of India once you have raised it with us.
